Well, Kathryn is the winner! He took all of the pieces of candy in the dish, and then asked me if the company paid for them. I told him, no, I buy the candy myself. (why would the company pay for it?) He said, oh, and took them all anyway!

How interesting. How about trying some yucky candy. Like those weird orange and black candies that are always left at the bottom of the jack-o-lantern a month after Halloween.
Psychology games are always fun.
I just figured out today that you posted a comment on my blog, two months ago (I feel rather sheepish). Thanks for the comment and come back anytime.
Well, that surprised me! Maybe try black licorice nibs, or only black jelly beans (if YOU like them, that is...someone's got to eat them eventually, it might as well be you). And if you don't like them, maybe the Schaefers will just have to pop in and empty them for you (YUM FOR US!!!)
Seriously, maybe type up a bill for him, and then see what happens...
I like Mindy's idea, but those orange and black candies are not yucky enough.
Maybe if you can find some garlic candy, or brussel sprout candy, or spinach candy, or rhubarb candy...
i was right!! woot woot!!!
but oh, the cheeky thing!! does 'the company' pay for them? sheesh!!!!
you guys are so funny!! I don't know if he's been taught manners, Kat, or if he just doesn't care. He can be pleasant otherwise.
And is there such a thing as rhubarb candy???? That would be totally cool! Well he's on vacation this week, but next week, I'm definitely trying something along those lines. Stay tuned. :-)

There is also a compendium of rhubarb recipes feturing everything from breads to pies to drinks (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic!).

I LIKE THOSE BLACK AND ORANGE CANDIES!!!! Okay, so I'm a weirdo... and ginger candy isn't all that bad. Maybe find some of that "trick" candy that turns your teeth black.... Cost Plus World Market has some I could send to you.
Amy, did you EVER think this subject would provoke so much comment? Good job!
Wow, Euphrony, thanks for the info! This is an amazing world, one where rhubarb candy exists!
