but i must say - hands down, no contest - DOGS! Cats are pests around here.
I like that dogs are friendly and their unconditional love is hard to beat. On the other hand, the cats play hard to get which can be fun...I have always loved chasing cats around hoping they will let me pet them. But in the end, I probably like dogs better.
