The very first book I ever reviewed was I Romanced the Stone by Marvin A. Wilson--this was back in 2006 or very early 2007.
The first review I posted on my blog was for Fragile Things, by Neil Gaiman. I got it published in the Star-Ledger too. Very exciting to actually work as a book reviewer as well as a book blogger!

The first book was Between the Lines: Master the Subtle Elements of Fiction Writing. An excellent reference for writers, by the way.

The first book I reviewed was A Girl Named Zippy by Haven Kimmel. I absolutely enjoyed reading it. Another thing I love about this post is that it shows me how far I've come as a reviewer. I would write that up much differently now, but I love to look back at the woman who wrote it the way it is. Great contest!!!!!

I am not a blogger myself but I am an avid reader of them! The first book blog that I remember visiting was Breeni Books!When I came across it I remember thinking I must bookmark this blog. Since then I am now a subscriber to it and many others.
My blog is mainly my illustrations, but I do give my thoughts on some books I'm reading. A little while back I reviewed Tears of the Giraffe because I loved it.
First Book: So Many Books, So Little Time ... it was one of the main reasons for staring my blog!
The first book I ever reviewed was The Princess Bride, on my personal blog. It was so much fun that I started up a book blog to keep it up. I had no idea there was such a massive community out here!

What use is having a Book Bloggers Appreciation Week when Book bloggers from outside of US or Canada are debarred from most giveaways?
So what s really being appreciated here?
I feel that all of us irrespective of where we live, make this community moving. I for one voted blogs/bloggers without any consideation of their geographical placements.
Next time onwards, I think I will stay away.
