I was procrastinating a little so I decided to go read everyone's posts for today and Dawn mentioned that she though the nominees should have gotten buttons as well.
I actually did have a blogger, Rowan, make me a button for the nominees, but I ran out of time to do with it what I wanted (I'm actually a slight perfectionist, believe it or not ;)
So to make up for it...I'm posting it here...grab it if you want nominees (please save it to your own computer first). But what I'd really love, is if someone would make another button using some kind of humor about losing. So, make a button, send it to me at bbawawardsATgmailDOTcom and I'll post them in a few hours and we can all vote on our favorite. Winner will get some books. ;)

I won no actual prize, but I'll put that button up with pride that people even nominated me for Best General Book Blog (and I guess it is time to go over to Bookgasm and figure out how to beat them for next year!).
Oops, I didn't intend to make more work for you Amy :) I like that you've delegated the task as part of a contest!
For the record (in case anyone thinks I'm being "grabby"), I wasn't looking for a button for myself, as I wasn't nominated (this year ... but I'll pull out all the stops for 2009!). I was just thinking that all the nominees deserved to show off!

I was nominated and lost to Bookgasm as well, but I have to say I was stunned just to be nominated. My readers are just tops!! :)
