Every Freaking Day with Rachell Ray by Elizabeth Hilts Giveaway!

About the Book: Hey kids! If 30-minute meals are good, wouldn't 30-second meals be even better? You bet they would! And EVERY FREAKING! DAY WITH RACHELL RAY makes this dream a reality!

This 64-page, full-color parody of the super-caffeinated media phenomenon Rachael Ray doesn't merely mimic the tone of the megastar's monthly magazine, daily talk show, multiple Food Network shows and countless ad campaigns, it nails it!

Bestselling author Elizabeth Hilts captures Rachael's perky exuberance, her "casual" approach to cooking and her irrepressible and wholly unique Rayisms.

I've got 5 copies to give away from Hachette! US and Canadian addresses only. Leave a comment and tell me if you like Rachael and why, or you don't and why not. Don't be too cruel, lol.

I like that Ray makes cooking accessible — the recipes don't take forever, and they don't require 20 ingredients you can't even get at a normal store.

I think it's incredibly dorky how she's got recipes for food to cook for your dog.

And I'm amazed by how non-inventive some of her published recipes are — not that they're bad, but some of them are just, well I have probably thought of them before. I could make them up on any day in my own kitchen.

How's that? A little of both.

I too like that you do not have to go to the gourmet deli to buy her ingredients.

I don't like paying for her cookbooks, so that is why I am entering to win.

I receive RR's cooking emails and personally I no longer care for her because she sends out an email about everyday and I cannot keep up with her...so she is kindof driving me crazy. I'm sure she is a great person and I don't hold it against her that my "inbox" is fuller than my "outbox"; I thnk I need to unsubscribe from her email list.
I would enjoy this book thou...please do enter me!

Every once in a while one of her recipes sounds good enough that I print it out. However, none of the ones that I've made have ever been very good.

I bought her magazine last month because a few things sounded good, so I'll try again!

I really like Rachell Ray. I watch her show everyday. I like a lot of her recipes because they're easy and fast. I'd love to win a copy of this.

First of all, I want to thank you for all you've done this week. I hope you've gotten some reading time in and some sleep. This week has been great fun for all of us and we really appreciate all of your hard work.
Rachael Ray is a little too perky for me.

I am a huge fan of RR. Love her show and her recipes. My son absolutely loves her. We have to be one of RR's biggest fans here in Canada. I use her cookbooks, website, tv shows and magazines for cooking ideas.

I do like Rachael. I try to watch her talk show, but it is on at 3 and I have to pick up my kids from school so I miss most of it. I love her magazine and have gotten it since it started. I can't say I make much from there, but just like to read it...especially the celebrity fridge and travel sections.

I love Rachael Ray. She is so upbeat and friendly. I wish her lots of luck on her new talk show.

I would totally love to win this book!

I didn't like her when her show first started. She was absolutely horrible at interviewing but she's improved somewhat so she doesn't get on my nerves and I can now pay attention to her culinary expertise. I like what she makes because it's normal food that I would actually make and eat. It's for the average person and I like that a lot.

I LOVE Rachael Ray! I use to watch her all the time on the Food Network - not so much now because I don't have the chance. I've also caught her daytime show a few times. She has great food ideas and I just love her personality!

I heart Rachel Ray and would be honored to win a copy of her book...that and the fact that if it can be made in 5 seconds I need to try it!

I love Rachel because she is real! She realizes that we are no longer the household of the Cleavers where moms stay home and cook all day. She knows that we are busy, working women who need good food that is easy and ready to go quickly.

I like Rachael. I watch her talk show if I'm home or it's on at the gym, and both of my kids love her. I can see why people don't like her but I think she's fun.

I love Rachael Ray!! I just think she is so bubbly and she always has a smile on her face, which in turn always makes me smile! And her recipes are fun, easy, and affordable.

I do enjoy Rachael Ray. I find her shows fun and the recipes she gives look good and easy to follow.

I actually like Rachel Ray, well at least her cooking shows, my husband said her talk show is not-too-great, but we both like her travel shows. She makes cooking look easy and fun, and she makes the hearty kind of food that we both like.

A friend calls me "Martha Ray" in the kitchen because I have a "champagne" attitude of Martha Stewart and a "beer" technique of Rachael Ray. I find Martha's recipes too demanding and intense and Rachael's too "loosey-goosey" :)

Lindsey said...

I like Rachel Ray because she's not too intimidating when it comes to learning to cook (like some others). And because some of her recipes are easy and fast!

Thanks for the giveaway!

I really like Rachel Ray. She's entertaining and relatable. I don't actually cook, but if I did, I'm sure I'd find her recipes doable. In fact, if there really were 30-second recipes, I think I might even be tempted to use my kitched for something other than decoration and a place to store the leftover takeout.

This sounds pretty funny. I do actually like Rachel, and I think her show 30 Minute Meals is great. However, I do tend to doubt that most people could truly complete the meals in actually 30mins. Seeing as most of us don't have a cabanna boy or staff to do our food prep. LOL

Please enter me. Thanks!

I guess I have a love/hate relationship with her. I do watch her show occassionally because I love to watch her cook. She always has simple recipes for things I could actually make and enjoy. Sometimes though her "goofiness" can get on my nerves. If she stuck to cooking and toned down the babbling, I would like her more.

I used to love Rachel Ray. We watched her alot as a family; my daugher even loved it (at age 3). But, I feel like she sold out. I usually don't care about that kind of thing, but, for some reason, in this case, I do.

I love her! She makes normal food for normal folks and although I am picky, it isn't just about the food, I like her personality as well. Please count me in!

HA! I'm starting to cook more and more these days, but being in school and having a zillion other things going on makes it hard. I'd love this book.

Yum-O. I love Rachel because she's so loud and personable--I used to watch the show just so I could feel like I was hanging out with my best friend for 30 minutes (that was when I was in grad school and had WAY too much time on my hands!). Please count me in for the drawing. :)

This looks hilarious, count me in.

I love Rachel Ray's talk show. She is so outgoing and down to earth and her recipes don't require too many ingredients or too much cooking knowledge. I love how easy it is to make her recipes.

I would love to win this book.

I like her and enjoy her show 30 minute meals and $40 a day when she travels to different places! my daughter wants to be a chef, so she watches The Food Network regularly!

I love Rachel for her recipies (they're all pretty simple, and that's all I'm good at, lol), but her perkiness is a little much for me at times, lol.

I like Rachel Ray because she can entertain and educate me at the same time. I'm not much of a cook but Rachel's recipes are simple and quick enough that I can follow without pulling my hair out before I could even attempt to start.
