I was going to say Pride and Prejudice but since it has already been mentioned I will say Knight In Shining Armor by Judith McNaught
'Message in a Bottle' by Nicholas Sparks. I remember crying so bad that my parents thought something was wrong. It was the best romance ever. =)

By romance, if you mean smut...then I love Carly Phillips' books..The Bachelor, The Heartbreaker, the Playboy. I have also read and enjoyed Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Cruise.

Fire and Ice, by Catherine Hart, has been a favourite of mine since my romance reading years (oh, so long ago!).
My all-time favorite is "A Knight In Shining Armor" by Jude Deveraux. I read it years ago when it first came out and it was the first romance I ever read with a paranormal twist to it.
My favorite is Whitney My Love by Judith McNaught. It's the story that got me hooked on romance many years ago
Hmm...that's a hard one. I love Carly Phillips, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Vicki Lewis Thompson, the list could go on forever, lol. To pick one, Baby Be Mine pops to mind by SEP.
My absolute favorite is The Perfect Rake by Anne Gracie, but I love Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series as well!
Hard to pick a favorite...any by Nora Roberts works for me.
Thanks for all the fun this week!
My favorite romance is
NO GREATER LOVE
i love all romance books, all genre, but i guess, since i cant think of just one, i go with moondust and star beams, by janelle taylor, a series of 4 books, the first series i really started watching for

I was going to say Knight and shining armor by jude Deveraux but saw someone said that so i'll say Pirate Lord by Sabrinia Jefferies.

That's hard for me to decide, but it would probably be something by Julie Garwood...maybe The Gift, Prince Charming, or Ransom.

One of my absolute favorites of all time is "Crocodile on the Sandbank" by Elizabeth Peters, set in nineteenth century Egypt with one of the funniest, feistiest heroines ever set on paper. How I adore her, Amelia Peabody...
I'm fairly tame, I think, in my romance books. I really love Nora Roberts, but my favorite 'romance' writer is Rosamunde Pilcher. See, I told you. She's not exactly a bodice-ripping writer. Still, I adore her love stories. My favorite is probably September, though I like her short and sweet ones, too.

I recently fell in love with Joanna Bourne's work. Read her My Lord and Spymaster and just adored it. I can't stop mentioning it to everyone!
Anything by Diana Gabaldon, who has (at least for me) written the greatest love story spanning six books now (and readers are still interested in this couple!). If I had to pick one, I guess I'd pick the first one: Voyager.
Oh I can't choose a favorite! My most recent favorite was Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Crusie though.
I really liked Gena Showalter's paranormal romance The Darkest Night.

Favorite romance book is Wanted! The Half-Breed by Bobbi Smith.
ayancey@dishmail.net
I agree with Tara - The Notebook, hands down!
Romance novels are my guilty pleasure. I love Shirley Busbee's The Spanish Rose and Love a Dark Rider. Her books are historical romances, which are just fantastic.
I like all of Nora Roberts books. Right now I'm read her J.D. Robb in Death series. I really enjoy reading it! Both Eve and Rourke are great!
