The Sunday Salon on...Tuesday

Ha, this has to be the latest ever (or earliest!) but I had a special something planned so I didn't want to skip this post altogether.

I haven't really had a second to read in the last few days...I spent almost all of Saturday working on BBAW...it's coming along nicely, though! The funny thing is, it takes a lot of time, but I'm enjoying every second. And so far everyone's been really nice and patient! So anyway, Sunday I decided to take a break and hit, not one, not two, not three, but four bookstores! (and a movie, but that's another post!)

So, first I went to my favorite Barnes and Noble and they had nothing that I hadn't seen three days ago when I was there. For some reason, I still enjoy looking around and getting ideas. Then I headed to Berean (a Christian bookstore). Sometimes they have really awesome sales. Like newish books for 5 dollars. This time, I picked up some older Christian music that was on sale, bundled two for ten dollars, and a Christmas book published last year on the bargain table. I LOVE Christmas books! In December, that is all I will read. Just so you know. I especially love Christmas romances for some reason.

After Berean, I headed to another Barnes and Noble where I bought a really pretty journal off the bargain book section. It's amazing how different two different Barnes and Nobles can be! I almost went into the men's room, because it was on the opposite side of where it is at my favorite Barnes and Noble! I'm so glad my brain registered it was the WRONG place! :)

Finally, I wound up at Borders. Borders is always busy and cluttered feeling to me, but I did spot several books I wanted.

The true greatness of this story is that I did not buy many more books! My TBR is about to push me out homeless, so it's a good thing! :)

So, um, when's the last time you visited 4 bookstores in a day?

Should I be ashamed to admit that I've been on a few vacations revolving entirely around bookstores?

Nah.

God. Coffee. Books. Does one need more?

If you count going to Sams' to look at books then yes I have. One day I went to Sams, Lifeway, Family Christian, and Barnes and Noble. :)

This Saturday I went to Barnes & Nobles and then to Mardels. I bought books at each place. I love book stores.

Nope, I've never been to that many bookstores in a week, much less a day! Sounds like fun though.

Adam and I love Barnes and Nobles! We don't have one in the area unfortunetly. But we like to take day trips to Baltimore and D.C and both places have Barnes and Nobles. We end up sending most of our time there seeing what we can find!

Well I have made it to three in one day but not recently. We have Chapters here and a small Coles that is closing and a Christian book store that has sadly closed-I did do all of those in one day. I was on a book buying mission and I do believe I came home with a few to add to the piles.

I've not made it to four bookstores in one day - sounds fun! And, I'm with you on the TBR pile, mine are pretty out of hand as well.
