What was the last book you bought?
The last book I bought was a birthday present for someone who reads this blog! So the last book I bought for myself was The Duchess by Amanda Foreman (formerly Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire)
Name a book you have read MORE than once
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Has a book ever fundamentally changed the way you see life? If yes, what was it?
Unspoken by Angela Hunt changed my entire perspective of the animal kingdom and animal rights. I'm going to write more about that soon.
How do you choose a book? eg. by cover design and summary, recommendations or reviews
All of the above.
Do you prefer Fiction or Non-Fiction?
Fiction, hands down.
What’s more important in a novel - beautiful writing or a gripping plot?
Both...but I really really love beautiful prose. But obviously there has to be a plot.
Most loved/memorable character (character/book)
Uh, Jane Eyre, Jo March, or Harry Potter
Which book or books can be found on your nightstand at the moment?
The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker..which has the aforementioned beautiful prose and is so far absolutely fantastic. Also, Goodbye Hollywood Nobody by Lisa Samson and many more.
What was the last book you’ve read, and when was it?
Sam's Quest for the Crimson Crystal...finished it yesterday.
Have you ever given up on a book half way in?
Yes. Or before. :)

Unspoken is a good read.
Come see my answers.

The Duchess was really interesting, although I read it under its original title, which I like much better. Georgiana was a fascinating woman and it's shocking to see how villainized she was when she tried to take some power as a woman.

Harry Potter...great choice...he's truly memorable!
I just requested *The Little Giant of Aberdeen County*; it looks fantastic! I'll look forward to your review ...
