Welcome to Faith 'n Fiction Saturday. If this is your first time participating, please read this post. It will tell you everything you need to know!
With the presidential inauguration coming up this week, I thought it would be fun to talk about our favorite fictional politicians. Even though we generally talk about books, feel free to expand your answer to include movies and television shows. Why do you like this fictional leader? What qualities do they possess that you wish our real politicians possessed?
On the flip side, who is the worst fictional politician you've read about (or seen on TV) What makes them so bad?
My Answer: I'm going with TV this week...sorry! My favorite fictional president was David Palmer on 24. (well at least in season 1,2, and 4!) I liked him because he wasn't afraid to be honest, he acted with integrity, and he was willing to make hard decisions.
My least favorite fictional president is also a 24 character...Charles Logan. He knowingly participated in terrorist acts against the United States...I mean, can you get any worse???

I feel like a cheater...haha
My answers and yours are ummm similar...
:)
Great call on the 24 leaders. David Palmer is a great fictional leader.
I think Atticus Finch is always going to be an ultimate leader in the way he stands up for what's right in Maycomb county in to Kill A Mockingbird.
I like your choices, Amy. Mine are up at Free Spirit blog:

Another fun Saturday morning, Amy!
My answers are here!
My answers: Albus Dumbledore and Delores Umbridge.
I totally agree with your answers. Totally! I loved David Palmer - when I see that actor doing State Farm commercials I always nostalgically think, "Oh, Pres. Palmer." But what about his wife?!
I think your choice of Charles Logan for "worst fictional president" is hard to argue with - so I won't. He did make for an excellent season of 24, though :-).
As for my favorite, no contest - Josiah "Jed" Bartlet of The West Wing.
