Today's Question:
Have you ever read a book and been completely surprised by it? Was it either better than you were expecting, moving in ways you didn't expect, more captivating than you thought, or totally different from what you thought it would be about?
My Answer
Of course! I think one of the joys of reading and especially reviewing is that this happens often. A recent example of this happening in Christian fiction would be the book Tender Grace. While I thought the book looked good, I didn't expect to find it to be such a treasure. Another time this happened recently was Tamera Alexander's From a Distance. I think the cover turned me off...she is really a fantastic author and I loved the book.

Sounds like I need to look into Tender Grace
Somehow my links ended up on both FNF posts. Hope you can fix it.
My friend's name is Audrey Eaton so it may be weird to read Tender Grace, but I am going to give it a try.
