First of all, an announcement! There is no way I am going to be able to keep from posting a bunch this week. Believe it or not, I am aware that some of you don't sit there and hit refresh on my blog all day long...you actually go to work, or chase after your kids, or write your own blogs, or like, sleep, and I do normally try to keep it to one or two posts a day (and fail miserably) but this week, I know ahead of time it is going to be busy up in here, so now you know, too! But the good news is there will be a bunch of giveaways! Yay!
March 23rd kicks off a week of blogiversary celebration! Other bloggers who have recently celebrated their blogiversary include Florinda, Suey, and Robin and I'm sure there are many others. March seems to be a time of year when people have creation in mind. Blog creation, that is, what did you think I meant?

In the News
I think we were all saddened by the death of Natasha Richardson. Both of these reflections were very moving to me.
Also, because apparently I live under a rock, I didn't hear about the president's slip on The Tonight Show, but I appreciated this very thoughtful post on the incident.
And, because I'm not sure where else to put this, how about a picture of Barack Obama made out of cereal?
Social Justice
Justin McRoberts wrote a fantastic post for Inspired to Action this week on Tough Times and the Resurrection.
Books
If all goes according to plan, I'm going to have a very bookish next couple of months, all kicking off with the 24 hour read-a-thon on April 18! I'm so excited! Go check out the site for details! I do have to say it's going to be bittersweet without Dewey. I always loved looking forward to her updates.
And I'm also hoping to make it to the book blogger's retreat in Oregon in July...are you? Go visit Trish and weigh in.
Did you know that this week marked the 40th Anniversary of the Very Hungry Caterpillar? Go visit Jen's blog and find out why it's extra special to her this year!
Did you know that the majority of editors are women? Some interesting thoughts on gender in publishing from agent Kristin Nelson.
Beth (if we should call her that. ;) reviewed Zig-Zagging by Tom Wilson...you are definitely going to want to check out her review and mini-interview!
Wendi gave a stellar review of Everyone Is Beautiful....I also really enjoyed this book!
Do you like audiobooks? Then you'll want to be sure to check out this post about whether or not audiobooks count as reading and some "can't miss" audiobook experiences!
I tend to agree with this idea that what publishing needs is more work on fewer books. What do you think?
Book Reviews
Chris reviewed Little Bee by Chris Cleave, which I really want to read, and Becky reviewed Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev and The Chosen One by Carol Lynch Williams both of which look fantastic. Lightheaded reviewed Spike: After the Fall, which I should definitely read!!
Giveaways
Marta is spreading the word about Cheerio's campaign against high cholesterol and giving away some bracelets!
Books Bought Based on Book Blogger Reviews
Evernight by Claudia Gray based mostly on FatalisFortuna's review.
That's it for this week's review. Thanks for reading, and please visit some of these wonderful blogs!

Man, almighty, Lady! Happy Blogversary. (am I spelling that right? probably not. I need to go back to spelling school)
I'm hoping that you are happy throughout your happiness week. Thank you for your ever-glorious generosity.
I added Little Bee to my wish list after reading Chris's review. Happy Blogiversary to you! How many years is it?
I look forward to your blogiversary celebrations, Amy! Mine is the week after next. March really is a popular month for starting a blog!
