Review: One Deadly Sin by Annie Solomon + Giveaway

In the middle of all the things I love to read, I enjoy a good romance from time to time. I especially like romantic suspense or romance with a mystery element and One Deadly Sin was just that!

Edie Swann returns to her hometown determined to get answers about her father's apparent suicide. She has a list of names of people who should have information and she starts leaving them little gifts to shake up their memory. But one by one, the same people Edie gives her little black angels to turn up dead. And now Edie is suspected of murder. To complicate matters she has fallen hard for the town sheriff and he's pretty fond of her, too. Can they work together to clear Edie's name and uncover the truth about the past?

I enjoyed this book for the most part. I liked Edie and admired her strength. I also really loved Holt and so the book fulfilled my number requirement for a romance novel...I cared that they got together and were happy! The writing is nice and crisp and the characters were pretty real for a small town community. The book certainly kept me guessing and I enjoyed the added intrigue of the fact that it was inspired by an actual legend. If you're looking for a romance novel this summer, I think this one is a great read!

Rating: 3.5/5
Things You Might Want to Know: There is explicit sex of course, though not an overabundance of it. Also some language.
