What is Faith'n'Fiction Saturday you ask? Read the intro post!
Today's Question
I always think there's a lack of books that are genuinely funny, that make me laugh through the book. It's probably why I so enjoy chick lit. But Christian chick lit lacks that light natural feeling humor and so there aren't many books (apart from Josey and Theodora!) that make me laugh.
Tell Me
Are there some good Christian fiction books that made you laugh out loud and just feel really good about life? I can't wait to hear your recommendations. Please put them in comments...linky seems to be having issues.

The SAHM series by Meredith Efken. These books are about a email loop group of stay at home moms, they're written in email and message group format and are absolutely hilarious. and they are so addictive!!!
Too Good To Be True by Trish Perry had me and my daughter laughing out loud!! I also love all of Cathy Marie Hake's books. Her writing has been dubbed "hysterical historical", and for good reason!
Will have my own post up tonight after I get home from work.

Anne Lamott has written one or two funny Christian fiction books...Crooked Little Heart, I remember. I mostly love her nonfiction.
I find Rene Gutteridge really funny; her books — I think you'd really like Boo — leave me feeling light and happy.
I've given about 5 titles in my post today. See it here: http://shouldbereading.wordpress.com/2009/07/25/fnfs-funny/

Saving Sailor by Renee Riva. One of the funniest and heartwarming books I've read in a long time.
I am joining Faith in Fiction next week. I just got back into town and read your post.
My answer would have to be Anita Renfro's Purse driven Life - it is hysterical! Patsy Clairmont has writtena book or two as well that are really funny but can not recall the titles at this late hour.... LOL
