I am rereading a book I loved as a young teen and it's such an interesting experience. I think I love it all over again just because I loved it once. I'll share more thoughts on the experience later with the review, but I wanted to let you know about an upcoming event.
Baby-sitters Club Week! A few other book bloggers have been talking about having a tribute to these beloved books of our youth for a long time and now I've decided to take the plunge. My idea is to basically have a bunch of different blogs participate by posting about the Baby-sitters Club during one week. If you want to join in the fun, please fill out the form below! Many thanks!

An interesting idea. I thought I had some of the Babysitter club books, but all I could find were some Babysitter's Little Sister books. Is that what they were called? I have 4 or 5 of them in my loft.
Love The Babysitters Club growing up.
I don't have a blog but I LOVED the BSC books (I still have the first 100 and most of the Super Specials)and would enjoy reading various other opinions on them.
Michelle-The Little Sisters series focuses on Karen, Kristy from the original BSC's younger stepsister.
Sing along!
You can always count on me
And I can count on you
Good times bad times in between
My friends will see me through
We will be sharing wonderful times every day
Aall together singing our song,
Growing in every way!
Say hello to your friends (Babysitters Club)
Say hello to the people who care
Nothing is better than friends (Babysitters Club)
'Cause you know your friends are always there.
I was too old for these when they came out and they really don't appeal to me now, I'm sad to say.
I put "Other" only because I'd be willing to do any and/or all of the posts, ha! I loved the BSC. And furthermore, checked out the VHS tapes from the library (again) just this past year.
I've been wanting to re-read these books for a while. What a perfect excuse.
I picked the first week option, but any works for me!
I am so excited about this! I probably won't post, but I read every BSC book there was...I would leave the library with 7 or 8 every week when I was 8-11!
What fun! I signed up for a review. Now I can go to my library and find one of the books I don't recall reading and revisit these awesome characters that I loved so much as a kid. Remember the Super Special editions? Maybe I'll do one of those! :)
I plan on checking my library or maybe Half Priced Books to see if I can find some of these!
I love this idea! I gulped the books down when I was a youngster, and I actually went so far as to repurchase the first twenty-five last year. I read through a bunch of them in a flurry of nostalgia and haven't made it back to the series yet. I think this sounds like the perfect opportunity to binge on them. :)
I am so excited it's not even funny. I LOVED these books and I can't wait to go through them and remember those awesome stories.
