Welcome to Faith 'n Fiction Saturday where we take a closer look at...you guessed it! Faith and Fiction.
For those of you who have been participating in Faith 'n Fiction for awhile, I just wanted to let you know that I'm working on a schedule. Some weeks will be questions, some weeks I'll just encourage us all to blog on a shared theme and the last Saturday of every month will be the roundtable. I hope to have that posted by next week.
Today I thought it might be beneficial to talk about our New Year's resolutions. Do you have any New Year's resolutions? Do any of your resolutions pertain to your spiritual disciplines or to your reading life?
I have some goals for the new year which include being an all around better person. :) Healthier, kinder, more generous, but smarter with money. Also, I want to read to learn and know and to do so fearlessly. I want to look back at the 2009 me and feel like I barely recognize her.
I also want to find the right kind of Christian fiction and read it. I don't like all Christian fiction, but some of it I love so much. I want to find more of the books that delve deep into faith with beautiful writing and then I want to share them here.
If you've blogged about your New Year's resolutions, feel free to add the permalink below!

I wish you luck in your goals. Glad to hear that you will share your treasures with us.
My goals involve taking a bit of time to care for myself and just stopping to smell the roses when they cross my path. Take care, Amy.
I never blogged about them, but they involve professional (more speaking engagements and a big send-off of my series) and personal goals (more time in the real world with people who matter, including my husband and the singles in our church's ministry.)
I feel you! I really started one and didn't dig it (Powers). I need a Christian romance/murder mystery :)
Thanks for prompting blog post thoughts, Amy!
Becky
