Ellie has everything going for her, she's a beautiful girl with a boyfriend everyone wants and she has big plans for her future. But what's on the outside is not what's always on the inside. Ellie has her own insecurities and hurts. And they are all brought to the surface one terrible night.
Beautiful is very serious in tone, but also very enjoyable. I felt that it was possible to relate to both Ellie and her sister Megan as they struggled to find themselves and their true worth. All of the characters were so well drawn that I could feel so much of what they were feeling. Some books just really connect emotionally and this was one of them.
This is a bit of a heavy read, but definitely worth your time.
