The past two days have been the kind of days where I forget to eat. I've just had a ton of stuff on my plate. Also it suddenly got hot here much to my dismay. I hate the heat.
I reached a breaking point this afternoon and knew I needed a break in a nice air conditioned place. I chose to go see Eclipse and it was absolutely the right choice. I haven't read the Twilight books apart from Twilight itself, but I do love my vampires and I found New Moon to be a very entertaining film. I knew I'd see Eclipse when things settled down. (meaning I wasn't fighting crowds of fan girls)
I didn't like Eclipse as much as I enjoyed New Moon. I think partly because it all felt a bit disjointed. And I think it's a shame that Bella doesn't love Jacob enough . Also the vampire flashbacks were kind of anti-climatic. I also didn't understand why all the vampires talked kind of funny in these super dramatic hushed sort of voices. But having said all of that, it certainly kept me entertained and engaged and longing to read the vampire fiction piling up for me.
And the emotionally dependent relationship didn't even bother me that much! In fact, it seemed much better...far better than in New Moon.
So all in all it was a good way to cool off this afternoon and get refreshed to tackle all of the work ahead of me.
But admittedly it did leave me longing for this (warning video isn't 100 percent family friendly):
