I Hope You Read Iris on Books!

It's the first day of Book Blogger Appreciation Week, a week long celebration of book bloggers!

Today for BBAW, our topic is to write about a new book blog we've discovered since last BBAW. I have to admit this IS A hard topic because who can remember exactly when they started reading the blogs they read?

After some careful thought, though, I can say one new blog I just adore that I've started reading in the last year is Iris on Books. What I love about Iris is that she seems like a very genuine person and she writes very thoughtful reviews. But not only that, she also brings up very interesting points of discussion, such as this discussion about reading and writing about religion.

Also, I love it when I'm reading a book blog and I learn about something I didn't know about before, such as why Iris might have avoided Dutch literature in the past and why she blogs in English.

And finally, she liked Wicked Lovely. That's like instant friendship!
