Just wanted to drop a quick note to see how everyone is doing!!
My sister and my three nieces have been in town for the past week and it's been a lot of fun, but like always with these things, I'm shocked the time is coming to a close! It passes so fast.
Comic Con was last weekend and is it just me or has the Con jumped the shark? I was surprised to see shows like Reign there? I mean....
But I did manage to watch the trailer for season five of The Walking Dead and it looks good!! I also watched the trailer for the second season of The Originals and I thought that looked really good as well? I haven't read any of the interviews or anything, but for some reason I'm really digging the idea of Hayley going off the deep end, plus I'm realizing I kind of miss the show!
My summer TV has come to a complete stop since I have family in town, but I was enjoying Murder in the First, Chasing Life, Finding Carter, The Fosters, and I really liked the first episode of Extant as well. I'm looking forward to catching up on all of those shows.
I also saw my first movie in the theater this year! It was How to Train Your Dragon 2, lol. I saw it with my nieces obvs. I enjoyed it!
Books....well I will read again and soon. :)
Tell me what you're up to, if you're staying cool, etc.

Having company visit is the best! I bet you're the coolest aunt ever!
It's surprisingly cool here for the end of July - you almost need a jacket in the morning.

OOH you had me at Walking Dead Season 5! :) As much as I love Summer... I do excited for fall kick off of great shows. As for my life... it has been a crazy month - left my job of 10 years to work from home on writing, helping a friend with her honey bees and harvesting honey, trying to adjust to a new normal and praying like crazy that I am making the right decisions :)
I just saw my first movie in a theater in a long while, too! I saw chef. It was very cute - a pretty simple story, without a lot of angst or any bad people, just nice characters. So refreshing!
I'm so far behind on all the television, I don't think I will ever catch up. I still haven't watched the last season of Switched at Birth -- it's been so long that when I read recaps of this current season (cause I like to know what's happening), there are whole characters I'm not even familiar with.
I am finally catching up on blog reading after yet another move! I haven't been watching a lot of things, but we did see How To Train a Dragon 2 and really enjoyed it. We may be seeing TMNT, since that is all my son talks about. I'm not sure what I will think of that one!
